Mountain View-based Google
launched Google Buzz, a social networking software component to the firm's Gmail email program, on Tuesday. The firm said the new software allows people to share photos, videos, and links, as well as tie to services such as Twitter, directly through Gmail. Google said it will roll out the service to all of its Gmail accounts over the next few days.
