Yahoo, Microsoft Get Clearance On Search Deal
Yahoo and Microsoft announced Thursday that the two have received clearance on their search deal from both the U.S. Department of Justice and the European Commission. The two, who originally announced in July of last year that Yahoo would start using Microsoft technology, instead of its own for search results, said that Microsoft will provide Yahoo with the same search results listings available through its Bing search engine.
