Lookout Spies $11M More

, a developer of smartphone backup and security tools, announced this morning that it has received $11M in a Series B funding round. The round was led by Accel Partners, and also included Khosla Ventures and Trilogy Partnership. Lookout says its applications identiy and block security threats that threaten a consumer's mobile phone. In a related move, the firm also said it has named Joseph Ansanelli, former CEO and co-founder of Vontu, as chairman of its board.
