San Francisco-based Crowdcast, a developer of enterprise software for social networking, announced Thursday that it has raised $6M in a Series A financing round. The round was led by Menlo Ventures, and also included prior investor Alsop-Louie Partners. The firm said the funding will go towards sales and marketing efforts for its product. Crowdcast is headed by Mat Fogarty. Sonja Hoel Perkins represented Menlo Ventures in the deal.
