MobileIron Gets $16M

MobileIron
, a developer of smartphone management software, announced today that it has raised $16M in a Series C funding round. The round was led by new investor Foundation Capital, and also included prior investors Norwest Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital, and Storm Ventures. The firm said the new funding will go towards business expansion and investment into the firm. Foundation's Paul Holland led the deal. The firm had raised its Series B round in August of 2009.
