San Francisco-based
Peanut Labs, a provider of market research survey products designed to work with virtual currency, social networking sites, and online games, has been acquired by
e-Rewards. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Peanut Labs said ti would continue to offer its brand for San Francisco-based publishers, with its Seattle market research survey business becoming part of e-Rewards' Research Now offering. Peanut Labs was advised by ThinkEquity LLC in the deal. Peanut Labs was founded by Ali Moiz, Murtaza Hussain, Noman Ali, and Prosper Nwankpa, and was backed by BV Capital and Leapfrog Ventures. Peanut Labs was formerly Xuga.
