Palo Alto-based
Facebook, and Microsoft's search engine,
Bing, said Wednesday afternoon that the two have partnered to use Facebook data to better hone results on Bing. Financial details of the move were not disclosed, however, the two said they would use the "Like" information from Facebook to provide better results to users. The deal comes as Google has increasingly been adopting features, such as Google Buzz, which creep into the functionality of Facebook's social networking site. Microsoft already holds a financial stake in Facebook.
