Google Boosts HomeAway
Mountain View-based Google is taking a stake in online vacation travel marketplace HomeAway, via its venture capital arm, Google Ventures. Financial details of the investment were not disclosed, however, Google is acquiring its equity stake from existing investors. HomeAway operates an online marketplace where people can find and book vacation rentals.
