Tesla Gets $30M From Panasonic
Palo Alto-based electric car maker Tesla Motors and Panasonic said late Wednesday evening that Panasonic has invested $30M in Tesla, in a private placement. According to the two firms, Panasonic paid $21.15 per share for a stake in Tesla, and is part of a collaborative relationship between the two companies. Tesla is currently using Panosonic's battery cells in its battery packs.
