ISSI Spins Out Giantec
San Jose-based Integrated Silicon Solution, Inc. (ISSI), said Tuesday that it has completed the spinoff of subsidiary Giantec Semiconductor. Giantec develops EEPROM and SmartCard products. As part of the spinout, ISSI said that Giantec has received $3.75M in an investment from Shanghai Pudong Scient and Technology Co., Ltd, and $250,00 from Super Solution Limited.
