WeatherBill, the provider of a technology-driven, weather insurance service aimed at farmers, said late Monday that it has raised $42M in a Series B funding. The round was led by new investors Khosla Ventures and Google Ventures. ALso participating were prior investors NEA, index Ventures,
Allen & Company,
First Round Capital,
Atomico, and Code Advisors. WeatherBill, which is headed by David Friedberg, said the new funding will go towards aggressive product and sales expansion.
