Silver Tail Systems Snares Series B
Palo Alto-based Silver Tail Systems, a developer of predictive analytics software for websites, said Monday afternoon that it has raised $20M in a Series B funding round. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz, and also included Leapfrog Ventures, Seraph Group, and Startup Capital Ventures. Andreessen Horowitz General Partner Scott Weiss joins the firm's board as part of the funding. Silver Tail's analytics services are used for detecting fraud and abuse of banking and other websites.
