Google Acquires Motorola Mobility For $12.5B
Google said today that it has acquired Motorola Mobility, the developer of mobile phone technology, in a deal worth $12.5 billion in cash. Google said it would pay $40 per share for Motorola mobility, using the buy to "supercharge the Android ecosystem".
