Walmart Labs Acquires Grabble
Australian startup Grabble said today that it has been acquired by Walmart, and has become part of Walmart's Silicon Valley WalmartLabs in Silicon Valley. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced by the company. Grabble was developing was a developer of applications for capturing receipts on a user's mobile phone, using a special code provided by participating retailers. The firm had been operating out of the offices of 500Startups since March.
