Freshdesk Raises $1M
Palo Alto-based Freshdesk, a developer of software-as-a-service based customer support tools, said Wednesday that it has raised $1M in a funding round. The round came from Accel Partners. FreshDesk is headed by Girish Mathrubootham, and was co-founded by Shanmugam Krishnasamy, both previously at Zoho. THe company said the funding will go to grow its product team and for marketing and business development. Accels' Shekhar Kirani joins the company's board with the funding.
