Iron.io, a provider of cloud application queuing software, said Wednesday that it raised $1.4M in a seed funding round. The round was led by Baseline Ventuers, and also included Ignition Partners, Cloud Capital Partners, Citrix Systems, Jonathan Siegel, Matt Ocko, Jared Kopf and Lance White. Iron.io develops a service used by cloud application providers to handle data exchange and message queuing. The firm said the funding will go towards product development, multi-language, multi-cloud, and customer and partner acquisition.
