Trimble Buys CAD Software Lines
Sunnyvale-based Trimble said this morning that it has acquired the StruCad and StruEngineer business from AceCad Software, in an expansion of its products for the construction industry. Financial terms of the acquisition was not announced. Trimble said the buy extends its Tekla Building Information Modeling (BIN) products, which are used for 3D structural details for steel detailers and fabricators.
