INgrooves Buys Fontana
San Francisco-based digital music distributor INgrooves said last week that it has acquired Fontana Distribution, a music distributor owned by Universal Music Group. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to INGrooves, the companies will combine into a new company called INGrooves Fontana. Universal Music Group also has a minority equity interest in INgrooves.
