Gumroad Gains $7M
San Francisco-based electronics payments firm Gumroad, which is developing mobile payments software to help users sell items using only a simple link, has raised $8M in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. As part of the funding, Mike Abbott, the VP of Engineering at Twitter, has joined the company's board.
