San Francisco-based
Practice Fusion, a developer of web-based, electronic medical records (EMR) software, announced this morning that it has raised $34M in a financing round. The round was led by Artis Ventures, and also included Felicis Ventures, Band of Angels, Glynn Capital, Ali and Hadi Partovi, Founders Fund, Morgenthaler Ventures, Scott Banister, SV Angel, Ghost Angel, Barton Asset Management, and others. Practice Fusion's CEO is Ryan HOward. The firm says it now has more than 150,000 medical providers and 40 million patients using its system.
