Yahoo Hires CMO
Yahoo said last night that it has hired Kathy Savitt as its new Chief Marketing Officer last night, as new CEO Marissa Mayer continues to build out her team. Savitt was most recently founder and CEO of Lockerz, an online service which rewarded teenagers for interacting with brands and watching videos. She also is a veteran of the consumer industry, having been EVP and Chief Marketing Officer of American Eagle Outfitters, in addition to heading up marketing efforts at Amazon.com, and MWW Savitt.
