Twitter Buys Vine
San Francisco-based Twitter has acquired mobile video sharing software startup Vine, which was based in New York, according to reports. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Vine's software--which had yet to be released--was aimed at helping users capture video and share them with their friends and others.
