Google Chops 10 Percent More At Motorola Mobility
Google is continuing to take the axe to Motorola Mobility, the smartphone and wireless equipment maker it acquired in 2011 for $12.5 billion. According to a report from the WSJ today, Motorola Mobility is laying off another 10 percent of its employees, or approximately 1200 people, across its operatoins in the U.S., India, and China. Google has not been kind to Motorola Mobility employees--it cut 4,000 employees in August at the unit.
