Oracle Buys Tekelec
Redwood Shores-based Oracle has acquired telecom equipment developer Tekelec, Oracle announced this morning. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Tekelec is a developer of network signaling, policy control, and subscriber data management products for the telcom industry. Oracle said it would combine Tekelec with existing businesses at Oracle Communications and Acme Packet.
