, the billionaire co-founder of Microsoft Corp., is opening up a new investment office in Silicon Valley,
according to reporta
. Allen's personal investment firm, Vulcan Capital, apparently is opening up a new office to specifically make investments in emerging companies in Silicon Valley, and to have an on-the-ground presence in the area. Vulcan Capital already is an active investor in Silicon Valley startups.
