8KMiles Buys FuGen Solutions For Secure Cloud Computing
San Ramon-based 8KMiles, a provider of secure, cloud computing services to the government and enterprise market, said today that it has acquired FuGen Solutions. FuGen Solutions is a developer of identity management software. 8Kmiles said it paid $7.5M for FuGen, to expand its cloud and big data security services. FuGen Solutions founder and CEO, Lena Kannappan, will join 8KMiles as COO. 8KMiles works with Amazon Web Services on its secure cloud services.
