Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to Plaxo, the firm will remain an independent operation in Silicon Valley, reporting into Comcast Interactive Media. The new feature is being sponsored by Sony. According to Photobucket, the new feature will also support slideshows, sharing via email and IM, posting to profiles and web sites, and RSS feeds. MosChip said it has purchased rights to TruVNS, a system-on-a-chip product for the IEEE 1394 (FireWire) networking standard.
