According to the firm, it will be cut its workforce globally by approximately 15 percent, as it expects the economic environment to worsen in coming months. The firm, which develops energy management systems for commercial and industrial facilities, said the funding was led by ONSET Ventures and Claremont Creek Ventures. The firm said it will use the funding to further develop its technology and expand global operations. According to the report, the site's parent firm Sup has laid off its product manager and engineers. According to Macrovision, Lionsgate will pay $255M for TV Guide Network and TV Guide Online, the television guide network Macrovision acquired when it bought Gemstar-TV Guide.
