![]() Wednesday, June 24, 2009 LinkedIn Installs Weiner As CEO Mountain View-based LinkedIn reported Wednesday that it has named Jeff Weiner as CEO of the firm, replacing current CEO Reid Hoffman. Hoffman remains as executive Chairman of the firm. Bauer to vice president and chief financial officer, effective immediately. Bauer, the Fremont-based firm explained, succeeds J. Scott Kamsler, who recently stepped down as senior vice president and CFO. The Sunnyvale-based company said Winner previously served as general manager of Atheros Communications' Global Positioning Systems business unit. Before that, ZeroG noted, he was CEO of u-Nav Microelectronics. According to the firm, the new web community includes tutorials, tips, and performance tools focused on "best practices" for delivering web content.
