Tesla Files For IPO
Palo Alto-based Tesla Motors said Friday in a filing with the SEC, that it is looking to raise up to $100M in an IPO. The IPO is being underwritten by Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, and Deutsche Bank Securities. According to the firm's filing, the company had a net loss of $31.4M on sales of $93.35M in the nine months ended September 30, 2009. The filing lists Elon Musk, Blackstar Investco (an investment arm of Daimler North America), Al Wahada Capital Investment, VantagePoin (More info...)
