 Wednesday, March 3, 2010 Playdom Buys Offbeat Creations Mountain View-based social gaming firm Playdom said Wednesday afternoon that it has acquired Offbeat Creations, a developer and publisher of social media games for Facebook. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Offbeat Creations is behind the title Super Farkle, a dice game. The firm said the funding, which it characterized as growth equity, came from Summit Partners and Nokia Growth Partners, along with existing investors Ignition Partners and Industry Ventures.
