![]() Monday, March 8, 2010 Silicon Storage Technology Offer From Microchip Upped The offer for Sunnyvale-based Silicon Storage Technology has been upped to $3.05 per share, according to prospective buyer Microchip Technology Incorporated today. Microchip said it upped the current offer for the firm to $3.05 per share in cash, comapred with its prior raised offer of $3.00 per share. Size of the investment was not announced. The round came from Auriga Partners and XAnge Capital. The firm said that as part of the acquisition, it has named Bob Bickel as its Chairman, added Auriga Partners Philippe Granger to its board, and also appointed Xange Capital's Nicholas Rose as a board director.
