 Tuesday, March 9, 2010 Scale Computing Raises $9.0M Scale Computing, which developers clustered storage products, said today that it has raised $9.0M in a Series B funding round. The round was led by Benchmark Capital, and also icnluded prior investors Blue Chip Venture Company, CID Equity, and Spring Mill Venture Partners. Benchmark's Bill Gurley joins the board as part of the funding. The round was led by Foundation Capital, and also included US Venture Partners, New Enterprise Associates, Lux Capital, Hatteras Funds, Best Buy, and Cisco. Mochi and Shanda said the fund will give developers access to technical, design, and testing resources, as well as development tools and distribution on Mochi Media's websites.
