![]() Wednesday, March 10, 2010 Nimsoft Acquired by CA Redwood City-based Nimsoft, a developer of availability monitoring software for IT managers, has been acquired by CA, CA said Wednesday afternoon. The deal is worth $350M in cash. According to CA, the acquisition will extend its ability to meet needs of emerging enterprises and MSPs. Nimsoft becomes part of CA's Cloud Products and Solutions Business Line. CA also said it hopes to hire the majority of Nimsoft's 120 employees.
