 Wednesday, January 18, 2012 Apigee Buys Usergrid Palo Alto-based Apigee said today that it has acquired San Francisco-based Usergrid, a developer of cloud-based software used for providing services to mobile apps. Financial terms of the deal were not announced. Apigee, which provides application programming interfaces (APIs) for a variety of services, said the acquisition will add a core set of APIs for mobile applications to its suite of software.
