    Endogastric Solutions Gains $13M More
    Redwood City-based EndoGastric Solutions, a developer of medical devices for treament of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), said Thursday that it has raised $13M in additional funding, a Series F extension for the company. The round came from Advanced Technology Ventures, Canaan Partners, Chicago Growth Partners, De Novo Ventures, Foundation Medical Partners, Oakwood Medical Investors and Radius Ventures, all existing investors.

    ThisLife Gets $2.75M For Photo Organization Site
    Palo Alto-based ThisLife, a new startup aimed at the photo sharing segment of the world, said that it has raised $2.75M in a funding round this morning, led by Madrona Ventures. Other investors in the round include Morado Ventures, Rogers Venture Partners, Brad Jefferson (Animoto), Sujal Patel (Isilon), and Brad Garlinghouse (YouSendIt).     Trident Capital Names VP
    Palo Alto-based Trident Capital, an investor in health care IT, cloud computing, IT security, and online security firms, said this week that it has named Taimur Shaikh as Vice President. Shaikh has been at Trident since 2010, when he graduated from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Shaikh has been involve din investments in Advanced ICU Care and HealthMEDX.     Brand.net Acquired By Valassis
    San Mateo-based Brand.net, a provider of online display, video and mobile advertising, has been acquired by Michigan-based Valassis. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Valassis said it would use the acquisition to enhance its digital display network.
