![]() Monday, June 25, 2012 Salesforce.com Acquires Thinkfuse San Francisco-based Salesforce.com has acquired Thinkfuse, a developer of software used for managing group communications, status reports, and project updates. Financial details of the buy were not announced. Thinkfuse was backed by SV Angel, Andy Sack, Ali Partovi, Hadi Partovi, and Scott Banister. Yammer, headed by David Sacks, provides a micro-messaging service targeted at enterprises, which functions much like a private Twitter. The round was co-led by Reinet Investments and NanoDimension. According to the firm, DBL Investors, GE, Khosla Ventures, Navitas Capital, Sigma Partners, and The Westly Group also participated in the funding.
