    Practice Fusion Calls Up $34M For EHR Software
    San Francisco-based Practice Fusion, a developer of web-based, electronic medical records (EMR) software, announced this morning that it has raised $34M in a financing round. The round was led by Artis Ventures, and also included Felicis Ventures, Band of Angels, Glynn Capital, Ali and Hadi Partovi, Founders Fund, Morgenthaler Ventures, Scott Banister, SV Angel, Ghost Angel, Barton Asset Management, and others.     Gemmus Pharma Gets Series A
    San Francisco-based Gemmus Pharma, a developer of treatments for influenza, said today that it has raised a Series A funding. Size of the round was not disclosed. The round was led by Life Science Angels, and also included BlueTree Allied Angels, Tech Coast Angels, Wilmington Investor Network and The Angels Forum.     Aptus Endosystems Gets $25M
    Sunnyvale-based Aptus Endosystems, which is developing medical devices used for endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR), said Wednesday that it has raised $25M in a equity funding round. The round was led by Synergy Life Science Partners, and also included US Venture Partners and Longitude Capital Management. Synergy's Mudit K. Jain joins the company's board with the funding.

    Rocket Fuel Takes Off With $50M
    Redwood Shores-based Rocket Fuel, a provider of online advertising technology, said this morning that it has raised $50M in a funding round. The round was led by Northgate Capital, and also included Summit Partners, Cross Creek Capital, Nokia Growth Capital, and Mohr Davidow Ventures. Rocket Fuel said it will use the funding to accelerate growth, including expanding international markets andto invest in hiring, technology, and business development. (More info...)
