    Wildfire Acquired By Google
    Redwood City-based Wildfire, a developer of social media marketing software, has been acquired by Google. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Wildfire--which says it now has almost 400 employees--said it will continue to help brands run and measure their social engagement and ad campaigns.     Pinfluencer Picks Up $1.4M For Pinterest Analytics
    San Mateo-based Pinfluencer, a developer of analytics software which analyzes the traffic from Pinterest social network, has raised $1.4M in a seed funding. The round was led by Freestyle Capital and Baseline Ventures, and also included angels Jess Engle, Mark Ghermezian, and others. Pinfluencer is headed by Sharad Verma.

    Cisco Completes $5 Billion Buy of NDS
    San Jose-based Cisco said this morning it has completed its acquisition of NDS Group Ltd., a developer of video software and content security products. Cisco had said in March that it would pay approximately $5 billion for NDS. NDS becomes part of Cisco's Service Provider Video Technology Group (SPVTG), with Dr. Abe Peled, former NDS Chairman and CEO, becoming senior vice president and chief strategist for Cisco's Video and Collaboration Group.

    Synopsys Buys Ciranova
    Mountain View-based Synopsys, the provider of design and verification software for the semiconductor industry, said this morning that it has acquired Ciranova, a provider of electric design automation software.
