The round was led by Globespan Capital Partners, and also included angel Mark Kvamme. The firm said the funds will go towards its technology, team, and to expand its list of clients. Synopsys said it will pay approximately $406M for SpringSoft, which is publicly traded in Taiwan. After accounting for cash on hand, Synopsys said the deal will be worth $305M.
