![]() Tuesday, September 4, 2012 MicroProbe Acquired By FormFactor San Jose-based MicroProbe, a developer of wafer test equipment used for systems-on-a-chip testing, has been acquired by FormFactor. FormFactor said it will pay $100M in cash plus $16.8M in stock for MicroProbe's parent firm, Astria Semiconductor Holdings, which is venture backed by Flywheel Ventures, Intel Capital and Gemini Investors. The company said MicroProbe generated $87.3M in revenue for its fiscal year ended December 31, 2011. MicroPr (More info...) posted on Tuesday, September 4, 2012(Full story) QBotix Gets $6.5M For Solar Install Robotics Menlo Park-based QBotix, a developer of robotics technology used to align and move solar panels to maximize the power output from photovoltaic panels, has raised $6.5M in a Series A funding, the firm disclosed this week. The funding was led by New Enterprise Associates, and also included Firelake Capital, Siemens Venture Capital, and DFJ JAIC.
