Lift Reaches Funding Goal, Gets $2.5M In Series A
Lift, the mobile goals-tracking application developer incubated out of Obvious Corp., has raised $2.5M in a Series A funding, the firm said today. Edison Pharmaceuticals Nabs $20M To Treat Mitochondrial Disease
Mountain View-based Edison Pharmaceuticals, a biopharmaceuticals firm developing treatments for mitochondrial diseases, has raised $20M in a Series F funding. The round was led by Mitsui & Co. Edison said the funding will go to advance clinical development of its EPI-743 compound. Mitsui gains a seat on the board with the funding.

TriReme Medical Lands $18M
Pleasanton-based TriReme Medical, a developer of medical devices for treating peripheral arterial disease, said today that it has raised $18M in a funding round. The round was led by Luminor Capital of Singapore, and also included other, undisclosed investors. The firm said the funding will go towards developing its piepiline of dilatation catheters and towards its infrastructure. TriReme Medical is led by Eitan Konstantino, Ph.D.

SolarCity Sets IPO Pricing Range
San Mateo-based SolarCity is rapidly moving towards its goal of having an IPO before the end of the year, and has set an initial estimated public offering range this morning. The firm said it estimates that its IPO price per share will be between $13.00 and $15.00, and that it is looking to list on the NASDAQ Global Market as SCTY.
