    Udemy Looks Up $12M
    San Francisco-based online education provider Udemy said Friday that it has raised $12M in a series B funding round. The round was led by Insight Partners, and also included Lightbank Capital, MHS Capital and Learn Capital. Udemy's online site lets users learn from experts via video. Udemy's CEO is Eren Bali.

    Validity Sensors Adds Intel Capital To Round
    San Jose-based Validity Sensors said this week that it has added Intel Capital, World Fair, and DDS to its latest funding round, which had an initial close in October, bringing its total raised in that round to $22M. The funding was led by TeleSoft Partners, and also included Crosslink Capital, Panorama Capital, Qualcomm Ventures, and Venture Tech Associates.     Centric Software Scores $19M
    Campbell-based Centric Software, a developer of product lifecycle management (PLM) software, said this week that it has raised $19M in a Series C funding round. The round was led by Oak Investment Partners, and also included Masthead Venture Partners. Centric Software's products are used by retail, apparel, footwear, luxury and consumer goods companies to manage their business processes. Centric Software's CEO is Chris Groves.

    Oodle Acquired By QVC
    San Mateo-based Oodle, the online aggregator of classified ads, has been acquired by QVC. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Oodle said it was profitable and cash flow positive, but decided to sell to QVC to increase its growth rate. Oodle was venture backed by Greylock Partners, Jafco, and Redpoint Ventures.

    Endace Acquired By Emulex
    Sunnyvale-based Endace, which develops network monitoring and performance management appliances, has been acquired by networking equipment firm Emulex. The deal was worth approximately $130M. Endace develosp equipment which allows customers to record and monitor network traffic at 10Gb speeds and beyond. Endace's marketing headquarters are in Sunnyvale, with R&D in New Zealand.
