    Art.com Acquires Zenfolio
    Emeryville-based art e-commerce retailer Art.com said Monday that it has acquired Zenfolio, the operator of a website aimed at helping professional and amateur photographers to sell and market their photos and services. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Zenfolio was founde din 2006, and was founded and headed by Alex Peyzner. The two said they will continue to operate as separate, stand-alone sites.     Shutterfly Buys ThisLife
    Redwood City-based Shutterfly said this morning that it has acquired Palo Alto-based Thislife, the developer of an online photo and video sharing service. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Thislife was founded by Andrea and Matt Johnson, both of whom join Shutterfly as part of the acquisition.     Solstice Biologics Raises $18M
    San Francisco-based Soltice Biologics said Friday that it has raised $18M in a Series A funding round. The firm, which is developing technology that enables the delivery of RNA-based therapeutics across membranes, said the funding was led by venBio and also included Aeris Capital. The firm's technology is aimed at helping improve the therapeutic potential of RNA interference (RNAi) and microRNA. The firm's technology was licensed from the University of California, San Diego.

    Shape Security Finds $20M More
    Shape Security, a startup based in Mountain View developing advanced security tools, has raised $20M in a Series B funding. The firm said the round was led by Venrock, and also included Caufield & Byers, Allegis Capital, Google Ventures, TomorrowVentures and Enrique Salem (Symantec). Ray Rothrock of Venrock has joined the company's board. The firm said it has now raised a total of $26M for the company.

    HeyZap Gains $4.3M
    San Francisco-based HeyZap has raised $4.3M in a funding round, according to a regulatory filing. The funding came from new investor Qualcomm, along with existing investor Union Square Ventures. HeyZap develops mobile, social gaming apps which connect mobile gamers with one another in a social way.
