    Mobiplex Adds $1.3M
    Santa Clara-based Mobiplex, a developer of wireless sensors being used for sports and golf swing analysis, said Tuesday that it has raised $1.3M more in additional funding. The firm said the new funding came from both current and new private investors, but the company did not disclose names of those investors. The company said it has now raised $4.4M for its efforts.     Epocrates Acquired By Athenahealth
    San Mateo-based Epocrates, the publicly held developer of mobile medical applications, has been acquired by Athenahealth, the two said this week. Athenahealth said it would pay $11.75 per share in cash, or approximately $293M, for Epocrates. Epocrates develps mobile apps for the iPhone, iPad, Android, Blackberry, and other devices for accessing healthcare information.

    Chartboost Gets $19M
    San Francisco-based Chartboost, which develops software tools for mobile game developers to help them promote their games and applications, has raised $19M in a Series B funding, the firm said Tuesday. The round was led by Sequoia Capital, and also included TransLink Capital and SK Telecom Ventures. Chartboost is led by Maria Alegre.

    Graphicly Raising $1.0M
    Palo Alto- and Boulder, Colorado-based publishing software tools provider Graphicly is in the midst of raising $1.0M in a convertible debt round, according to a regulatory filing from the firm this week. The filing indicates the company has raised $657,388 so far in the round. Details and source of the funding have not been announced by the company.
