    Cisco Sells Linksys To Belkin
    Cisco has just unloaded its Home Networking Business Unit--which sells the Linksys brand of home networking and wireless routing equipment--to computer accesories maker Belkin, Belkin announced Thursday.     Extole Lands $7.6M
    San Francisco-based Extole, a provider of social media and marketing services and software, said today that it has raised an additional $7.6M in a funding round. The round came from current investors Shasta Ventures, Norwest Venture Partners, Redpoint Ventures and Trident Capital. Extole said it has now raised $29.6M in funding.     CircuitHub Gets Funding From Google, Y Combinator
    CircuitHub, an online library of electronic parts and information for hardware designers, has raised a round of funding from Google Ventures, Y Combinator, and angels Paul Buchheit, Matt Cutts, Garry Tan, Alexis Ohanian, Harj Taggar, and others.     Automattic Buys Simperium
    Automattic, the software developer behind the popular WordPress blog software, has acquired Spimerium, a developer of data synchronization tools. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed.     Intel Backs Apperian
    Intel Capital, the venture investment arm of Intel, has made an investment in enterprise mobile application management firm Apperian, in a strategic investment. Apperian is based in Boston, and is also backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and North Bridge Venture Partners.
