Star Analytics Acquired By IBM
Redwood City-based Star Analytics has been acquired by IBM, the two companies announced Friday, to help advance IBM's business analytics initiatives. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Star Analytics develops software used by companies to automate their business intelligence analysis. Star Analytics was backed by Hummer Winblad Venture Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
