    Axiom Global Snags $28M For Legal Services Outsourcing
    Axiom Law, a San Francisco-based company providing business process outsourcing in the legal area, has scored $28M in a funding round. The round came from Carrick Capital Partners. Axiom saw it helps clients manage their legal work, via a 1,000-person firm. The company says it handles everything from complex contract projects, to litigation discovery, and more.

    Twitter Buys Bluefin Labs
    Mountain View-based Twitter said Tuesday that it has acquired Bluefin Labs, a developer of social television analytics tools. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed, however, the NY Times reports the price is around $100M. Bluefin Labs was based in Cambridge, mass., and (More info...)

    Think Big Analytics Seeded With $3M
    When Ron Bodkin, the founder of Think Big Analytics, was VP of Engineering at Quantcast, he started tapping into Hadoop and NoSQL--two of the core of the move towards big data analysis--in that firm's operations.     Lifefyre Snags $15M For Social Commenting
    San Francisco-based Livefyre, which develops social commenting and real-time chat applications, said today that it has raised $15M in a Series C funding round. The round was led by US Venture Partners, and also included Greycroft Partners, Hillsven Capital, ff Venture Capital, and Cue Ball. The new funding round brings the company's total raised to $20.3M.     Google Buys Channel Intelligence
    Google has acquired Channel Intelligence, a developer of software and services which helps companies list their products in Google Shopping and other similar online shopping sites.
