    Nimsoft Buys Cittio Assets


    Redwood City-based Nimsoft, a developer of IT performance and monitoring tools, announced this morning that it has acquired the IP assets of San Francisco-based Cittio, which was a developer of network and systems monitoring software. Financial details of the intellectual property acquisition was not disclosed. According to Nimsoft, the buy gives it additional Layer 2 and Layer 3 discovery, topology mapping, and root cause analysis technology.
