Palo Alto Networks Adds $10M

Sunnyvale-based Palo Alto Networks, which develops network firewalls, has scored $10M in additional venture funding, just four months after an initial Series C funding round in August. According to Palo Alto Networks, the new investment, led by JAFCO ventures and which included JAIC and Northgate Capital, is an expansion of its earlier Series C funding round. The additional capital increases the firm's Series C to $36M. Palo Alto Networks develops firewalls which can identify applications and enforce security and other compliance policies. The firm's Series C in August was led by Lehman Brothers Venture Partners, and also included Globespan, Greylock, and Sequoia Capital. More information »
